This course explores the differences between 'passive' and 'active' learning, the benefits of the latter and examines teaching techniques which promote active learning easily. 'Active' does not necessarily mean movement, but does imply collaborative groupwork and particular ways of setting up the learning environment to promote indpendent learning - Come and learn how to extend your teaching techniques.
